| The ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 Worldwide Certified Company Directories
The de-facto, "official" registries for many large purchasers and users of third-party registration services in North America have now gone global. The ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 Worldwide Certified Company Directories are the most comprehensive, accurate databases of ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 registered companies around the globe. The directories, long heralded as the premier source for North American certification information, began accepting international certificaiton information beginning in 2004. The directories are available as subscription products, with each one-year subscription featuring four quarterly installments. In addition, the directories form the basis of QSU Publishing's research service, offering customized market analyses to subscribers and nonsubscribers alike. Data submitted to the directories is also featured on WhosRegistered.com, where users can search for registered organizations for free (www.whosregistered.com).
The first edition of the directories was known as the ISO 9000 Registered Company Directory North America, which debuted in February 1992. It contained information on some 200 registered sites in the United States. By the summer of 1992, the ISO 9000 directory was expanded to include Canadian registrations. In August 1994, it was again expanded to include Mexican registrations. Each fully searchable ISO 9000 directory CD-ROM contains more than 50,000 records for the United States, Canada and Mexico, and users may now search for sector-specific applications. With the decision to include worldwide certifications to the ISO 9000 directory starting in 2004, there will undoubtedly be a major expansion in the quantity of certificates available to directory subscribers. The ISO 14001 directory, which debuted in 2000, offers similar functionality with respect to environmental management systems registration. Both products also feature an exclusive market analysis prepared by QSU Publishing, a database of registrar capabilities and links to registered organizations. QSU Publishing provides a free continuous subscription to every registrar/accreditation body that submits data to either our ISO 9000 or ISO 14001 directory. To set up your organization's subscription, call QSU Publishing customer service toll free at 1-866-225-3122 or 703-359-8460 or e-mail sales@qsuonline.com.
QSU Publishing Company is also the official repository of the automotive supplier listings maintained in the Worldwide Sanctioned QS-9000 Database. The database includes information on automotive suppliers that have attained third-party certification in accordance with QS-9000, a supplier quality requirement developed by the Supplier Quality Requirements Task Force (SQRTF). Under the arrangement between QSU Publishing and the SQRTF, all certification bodies authorized to issue third-party certifications in accordance with QS-9000 will be required to submit data in a timely fashion directly to QSU Publishing. Certification to QS-9000 is a sourcing requirement for direct global automotive suppliers of parts and materials to DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor and General Motors. Those wishing to track exactly which companies in the world have attained QS-9000 certification can do so by subscribing to the QS-9000 Worldwide Certified Company Directory. Published quarterly, this directory is the sanctioned source of third-party certifications to QS-9000. Each subscription CD-ROM contains a complete, fully searchable database of over 25,000 international registered sites. |
